S’mores Pies That Bring the Campfire Inside

Gooey, Toasty, and Too Damn Good to Share

We’re obsessed with s’mores on our camping trips—sticky fingers, happy faces, and chocolatey faces. But when winter traps us inside, I’m not letting that vibe die. These mini s’mores pies are our favorite: soft, melty, and so stupidly good, they’ll bring summer back into your kitchen, no tent required. They’re quick, they’re sweet, and they’re us—messy and real.

What You’ll Need (Makes 6—Good Luck Sharing)

  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream—33% works best.

  • 6 mini pie crusts—10 cm, pre-made, because I’m not rolling dough at midnight.

  • ½ cup chocolate chips—dark or semisweet, your call; both are perfect.

  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows—the tiny ones, for max gooeyness.

How to Make ‘Em (15-20 Minutes, No Campfire Needed)

  1. Melt the sweet: Microwave the whipping cream for 1 minute—don’t burn it; I’ve done that. Add in the chocolate chips and whisk till it’s smooth. If it’s lumpy, you’re not stirring hard enough.

  2. Fill them up: Pour 1 ½ tablespoons of that chocolate into each pie crust—eyeball it; do not overfill it. Pile on the mini marshmallows till they look fancy.

  3. Air Fry It: Set your air fryer to 300°F—no oven juggling here. Slide the pies in, bake for 5 minutes, or till the marshmallows toast golden-brown. Burned them? Still edible, I swear.

  4. Let it cook down: Let it cool 5 minutes—don’t burn your tongue. Pop them in the fridge for 20-25 minutes to set that gooey texture.

  5. Dig In: Pair with coffee, tea, or just your bare hands—soft, sweet, and fancy summer.

Why it works everytime

  • Quick as hell: 20 minutes, done—perfect when my kids are climbing couches.

  • Yummy Chaos: Soft crust, melty chocolate, toasty mallows—it melts in your mouth.

Mama Hacks

  • Swap It: No air fryer? Broil them—2-3 minutes.

  • Extra Kick: A dash of cinnamon or a chocolate drizzle—go wild.

  • Kid Job: Let them top the mallows—sticky hands, happy faces.
